Product Description

The 7/10-inch irrigation control cabinet features a weatherproof enclosure and can be customized to suit various client site requirements! The zoned irrigation control cabinet is a device designed to manage irrigation operations across different zones within an irrigation system; its primary function is to enable zoned control. Through its control circuitry and programming, it can independently activate or deactivate solenoid valves or ball valves for each individual zone within the irrigation system. For example, in a large farm with multiple crop cultivation areas, the irrigation duration and water volume for each area can be controlled separately. In terms of components, the cabinet includes a control unit – acting as the "brain" of the device – which may be a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or a simple microcontroller used to process irrigation logic and commands; it also incorporates electrical components such as relays to execute the instructions issued by the control unit, thereby turning circuits on or off to operate the irrigation equipment; additionally, it features an interface section for connecting external sensors (e.g., soil moisture sensors) and irrigation devices (e.g., sprinklers, drip irrigation pipes, etc.). Furthermore, the cabinet can be integrated with other systems—for instance, by receiving data from a weather station to automatically adjust irrigation strategies based on weather conditions, or by connecting to a remote monitoring system, enabling managers to remotely control irrigation zones and monitor irrigation status via mobile phones or computers.
